You are the Potter

Marty has been out of town for work and although we have missed him, I have enjoyed my time with this sweet boy! He was helping me make dinner. Trying the animal crackers that have wheat. So far he hasn't swallowed any, he just chews em up a little and spits em out. In theory he should get enough of the allergen just by having them in his mouth but I don't feel like that is enough of a trial so we will continue trying a few things with wheat.

This was on a Wedesday. He had therapy that am and did horrible in the fact that he wanted nothing to do with the food. Then therapy at the house at 1530 and he did great! We sat down for dinner and he did awesome again! He is so growing up! So very bitter sweet. See that little leg hiked up there like Joe Cool?

I should add, he still spit some of what he had out. Still a good eating session for this boy.

He cracked up when when I walked out of the bedroom and seen this.

Since Bob's funeral he has wanted to wear a tie pretty much every day. Every. Day. I did not argue this day. He kept the ladies talking at therapy. They thought he was cute in his tie. :0) And he is also potty trained now. Took us to about day three and he rarely has a pee accident. Number two is a different story. He is hit and miss with that. Can't wait for that to get better! lol It sounds so silly, I know but I finally feel like my kid did nothing normal.

We went to you are the potter. It was fun but somewhat nerve wrecking for a mom with a toddler and all that breakable pottery around there!

Brilynn is one of the best at keeping Bricen happy.

She is one of his many BFF's. :0)

Fun with Cousins

Bob passed away last week. He will truly be missed. We got together at Juanita's for a little family time later in the week and of course the big kids thought it would be fun to have a water balloon fight.

That's my little Spartan with his helmet on.

How cute is Kayden?

Tanner being a little dare devil. lol

Marty and Bricen busting a water balloon. No wonder Daddy is the fun one, huh!?

He sure did have a good time!

One of my favorite things to do is get little people together and try to take a picture. The end results are too funny!

This one is hilarious to me.

Juanita sent some flowers home with us from Bob's funeral. Bricen would not stop trying to smell them. I finally just gave in. Haha

While Marty was out of town Bricen and I went over to keep Juanita company. He found the lizard costume and loved scaring people with it.

Went over to "help" Aunt Bri do some gardening at Papaw Dennis house. Bricen was really confused and didn't understand why he couldn't ride this tricycle.

Ready, set, go!

See what a big help he was?

Found a little mud.

Which he loved. :0)

Photo: We laid to rest my father-in-law yesterday. He was a good man with a warm heart. When I first started coming around my in laws (ten yrs ago-holy moly) it was Bob that stood out and made me feel most comfortable. Anyone that knows me can tell you I'm a little awkward with I love you's and hugs. Early on it was obvious "love you guys" and hugs were just part of Bob and yet it wasn't awkward because it was just who he was. He was also the kind of guy that insisted on getting up so you could have his seat, insisted on helping carry stuff to your car, the first to insist that you get in there and fix your plate at family functions. Again, that awkward, early on in law gathering (that aren't even in laws yet) "I'm gonna pretend I'm not hungry" kind of setting. Lol A true gentleman that will be missed.
A copy of my post on FB about Bob sums him up pretty well..
