This is what happens when you dunk your head face first in your water table. It was pretty funny to watch!
We made use of some of the decoration from Brit's bridal shower and headed outside to do some drawing.
Yea, I can't figure out how to turn that. Just tilt your head to the left if you need to. It's 3:34 am people. :)
Therapy had worked with some play doh and we continued it later in the week. He would say "poke" as he put the straw pieces in the play doh (who knows how to spell that).
Perhaps we shouldn't let him take his wagon through the mulch? But he was so cute, using all his weight, trying to get the wagon over the bricks. Again, probably a first kid thing to grab a camera instead of not letting him do it.
Did some flower shopping with Brittani for her wedding.
I told the facebook world that under this hat Bricen is probably thinking about how he can't wait until he is bigger and can stay home with the boys. That way he doesn't get drug around to places like Michaels and I can't do thinks like put this ridiculous hat on him and take a picture.
We ate at Olive Garden afterwards. Eating out is getting a little easier now that he has some (even if it is small) interest in the food. Funny. My little bones man took to the lettuce the most. Go Figure. He may not be my child. :0)
He's a two handed kind of guy. I saw it with the markers too.
My aunt would tell you he gets this pointing honest. It's something I can't help, the finger just starts pointing sometimes. Hey, our fingers might be small but they are mighty in our minds.
Who knows. He kept saying "cheese".
Brett came over. He thought he was going to get a nap while he was here. Bricen thought otherwise. :0)
You see the dog under the tent? Idk how they ended up like this but they laid like this for awhile. All day long we are telling him to get off Kita. I wonder if she thinks they are as BFF as he thinks they are?
I'm still not sure how much he is swallowing, if any. The last few nights at dinner he has showed better interest at eating tacos (just the insides) and hamburger, green beans and tomatoes. I don't like only feeding him three times a day (tube feeds) on feeding trial days. He has lost weight. Marty reminded me he was sick. So, I'll give it a week and see what happens. Speech Therapy at Riley tells me not to weigh him as often. I've gotten a lot better at that but in my opinion, weight loss is not an option even if we are cutting back so he takes more in by mouth. Idk what therapy would say but it's just not worth it. We fight for every gram/ounce/pound he has put on. He is making slow progress but it's progress.
**Up next, wedding prep, rehearsal and wedding day for Chelsi!**
