Everyday Treasures

Everyday Treasures are just that, everyday events that we treasure. Yes, it's corny, and yes I just said corny. :0) Here is my confession. It's April and I'm listening to Away in A Manger while I blog. Don't tell my husband. He won't let me live it down. I just wish I could sing along without waking anyone in my family. Unfortunately I only know how to sing loud...similar to all these videos I'm seeing these mamas post of their little girls belting out Let It Go!
Lots to blog about. Lots and Lots of pictures, too!
I think I've posted this before but it's worth mentioning again. So thankful for the difference since getting out of the hospital. Thankful to God.

We all know my dear boy is all about texture. He loves him a good comfy/burp rag that is more of a terry cloth material, loves a velour blanket, loves towels. He found some felt like material at the bottom of the Keurig cup holder and for some reason he wanted his foot to experience it. He has a habbit of trying to play with my eyebrow with his foot. I draw the line there! Haha Those feet are only going to get more stinky!
Oh no, Baby It's Cold Outside is now playing. I sure hope I can hold it in. I'm pretty good at this one. ;0)

This sweet boy does not discriminate against age when it comes to play dates. Nor does he discriminate against his playmates toy box/trash bag. (Love her!)

Last week we worked some on potty training. I would just tell him I was going potty and ask if he wanted to go to. Much to my surprise he did and he would actually kind of push until he went potty. Color me surprised. So we took the pot with us to Grandmas for our play date.

He's nothing short of hilarious each time. He has to watch whats happening. And he sure is proud when he gets done. One problem. He prefers to be butt naked. I have several videos of the victory dance butt naked. But there are too many creepers in the world to post that! I mean all the way down to his socks and his pad around his button. He is a crazy awesome mess.

Blurry, but it's the victory dance. That stinin' chair is suppose to sing when he goes pee but I can't ever get it to work right so I just took it out and hand it to him when he goes.It works. We will get serious in the next couple weeks. We had to many other things (appointments, family day, etc) planned these few week to get serious. One more potty time funny, the kid wants to practically put his face in the potty after he goes. I promise a time or two when he is bent down looking his forhead may have been resting on the seat. Yep, gotta break him of that one! Oh yes, and one day I came home from work and his dad had been teaching him body parts. Where's your eyes, etc. I was impressed until I heard Where's your wee wee? And of course Bricen says in the sweet voice "wee wee" and points to his down unders. Haha

Grandma got Bricen the coolest book. It has some of the funny sayings Grandmas say and this def applies to our Grandma.

Even Super Man has to push the cape aside and eat at some point!
