Just thinking "out loud"

Saddest thing happened last night...okay not the saddest but it broke my heart a little. This is about week three of potty training. No pee accidents since day three but poo is still a challenge. He still gets his fifth tube feed while asleep. Because of this I've always just said big boys wear night night diapers and that it's okay to wear diapers at night. He still goes right before bed and right when he gets up and we change him to undies as soon as he wakes up.
Last night he had been asleep a bit and I was laying next to him in bed. He started tossing and turning and fussing and holding himself and crying. I thought he was in pain. I rarely get freaked out with Bricen. Kid has had heart rate alarms going off, turned every color in the rainbow etc and I don't usually freak. Probably because my husband does and well, someone has to stay calm. ;) anyways I'm clueless when it comes to winkies lol so I'm thinking something is seriously wrong with his winky. I've heard of things getting twisted down there etc. Again, clueless. The worse is when you don't know when to freak out. I usually have a hold on that lol but I got Marty in the bedroom told him to turn on the light all the while Bricen is writhing in bed and holding himself and crying. Marty of course says look at it, maybe he got bit or something. I pull back the diaper and the kid starts to pee! Pee on me, the bed, him etc etc! Poor pumpkin was just trying not to pee in his half asleep state! I quickly put the diaper back over him, he finished and fell back asleep. That's all that was wrong with him!

Marty jokingly asked if I beat my kid when training him to potty in the big boy potty. Of course I didn't I just told him it was icky yucky etc and he's a good boy and smart and wants to be a big boy. Lol
Now I've got to decide do we teach him to get up and pee several times at night and ditch the diaper? Do I try to get down to four feeds? Increasing volume can cause havok on a currently pretty decently controlled  reflux. Even if we make an effort to start our day earlier and start feeds earlier he is missing sleep or getting a feed in the am hours while asleep. He took a nap the other day (which he rarely does anymore) and stayed dry. Hmm
