More catch up ...

We met Lyla and Tiff at Target one day. These two were pretty cute as usual. Bricen was "talking" to her, pointing at stuff as if he was showing her around for the first time.

And she just cracks up at him. It's adorable to watch. And yes, they are both fitting in the front of that cart, Bricen around 23 mo and Lyla around seven. So we said when they are screaming at each other years from now we will remind them of this.

Marty and I celebrated our three yr wedding anniversary last week. This pic is a blast from the past. Only married three yrs but together nine.

Bricen and I made this pumpkin spice (like thing) for Marty. We all went to bible study then aunt Bri watched Bricen while Marty n I went to dinner. It was nice but we did spend some time talking about Bricen during dinner.

When I was putting these up I purposefully put them in a lower cabinet, hoping he would find them and want them. It's a cabinet he rearranges for me often. :) my plan worked. Of course they didn't   hold his attention for long tho.

Football season is here and Bricen and his Daddy are pretty excited about it!

So I was having a stressful day, dealing w medical bills and insurance and I turned around and find this little guy smiling up at me. Thank you sweet baby, you make mommy's day brighter on a daily basis!

Ah, he just looks so big here!

Did I mention he is such a sweet baby? Especially when he is sleeping! :) this couch was from Santa last Christmas. He is attached to it. We started to throw it away not to long ago. We had taken it apart and washed what we could after he had vomit on it and when we were carrying the pieces to throw away he was trying to put it back together. (Sigh) and so the couch stayed.
His talking has picked up. We are on our second therapist working w language/speech. Our first was awesome. She got a new job, better for her fam, etc.  We are still getting warmed up to the new gal. The last two weeks he has picked up "me, you, mine, bean, bite, down, done" and "boobies", yes, boobies. Such a proud mommy moment. Haha
