Well, I "hosted" Christmas. It's funny that I claim to "host" things when in reality lately all that's happened is I'm providing the house. My sister and my awesome niece have saved the day more than once. It was more than a little challenging to have Christmas when I had not left the house or even cleaned on a regular basis in about a month or two with the colds, pneumonia's, etc that we had all been dealing with. My husband is wonderful and has been going to the grocery for us because of not wanting to get Bricen out in the weather but let me just say, if you have more than ten items on your list, he gets ugly. Find me a woman that can tell me the last time she went to the grocery and left w/ten items or less. We don't do it. That only happens at gas stations and drug stores. And sometimes not even then. haha So, major props to the fam. (And I suppose to my husband-love you honey.)
But all that and I didn't even end up hosting Christmas for my family! At the last minute grandma decided she did not feel like getting out so we all packed up and had Christmas there. We wouldn't have it any other way than for us all to be together. She can't get rid of us that easy. ;0)
As usual Bricen was concerned w/getting his hands on Brett's head. Aww, love my little weirdo.
This is also a typical Bricen thing. If he is tired, he does not care where he is at or what's going on. It's not unusual for his to just take a break of sorts. Just a quick snuggle w/this awesome carpet and then we can carry on.
This pretty girl was looking as adorable as ever!
Bricen got a sit n spin. He had to make sure whoever put it together got the screws tight enough apparently. :0)
Santa brought grandma a sassy red coat to match her already sassy self.
And Mr. Cool tried out Bricen's headphones for him.
A good time was had by all. We are thankful for the blessings the Lord has given us but most importantly we are thankful for the reason for the season.
