Great News! I can post from my computer again, which makes it easier for me to ramble. Haha The "so so" news is that the five day feeding trial was "blah". That's how I'll sum it up. Waiting to hear back from Riley Speech Therapy. Not only did my weekend option pay go bye bye, Bricen's therapist is getting got laid off. Been working with her two years and she gets laid off. I know she has to have at least 20 years with Riley hospital. I'm just praying and trusting that God is going to work all of these changes for the good. I'm gonna praise him in the storm. Maybe the other therapist won't be "better" but have a fresh or different view or ideas to try and he will take off. Or, maybe she will suck and we just won't follow up with her. Maybe his current therapist that is getting canned will end up working for my hospital and make the insurance process easier. Who knows.
He's a stinker and at such a fun age.
People (such as the hubbs and my family) laughed at me when I bought this dog tray. Yes, Bricen was not even eating at the time. Even if he was "normal" he wouldn't have been eating. But I knew someday he would find it fun. I sure did. Who doesn't like fun? Weirdos, that's who. :0)
Inspector Bricen checked it out from top to bottom.
I tried to stick with the same thing. Maybe it helped, who knows. He put every piece of hotdog in his mouth and then laid it in the ketchup.
Which part of the orange are you suppose to eat again? I mean we all know he isn't gonna swallow anything, so I let him chew on it a minute.
Apparently, it was good. :0)
By day four and especially day five I couldn't keep his pants on him they were falling off so bad. I can not tell you what that does to me. Gets to me. I came home from work tonight, picked him up and automatically noticed he was heavier. Love it. Him and Daddy did a good job getting all his tube feeds in today. Speaking of Daddy, he's on vaca this week. No big plans other than to fix the fireplace, shampoo carpets and celebrate a certain punkin's birthday!
Appt with development peds. I kind of forgot about the appointment or I wouldn't have done our first five day feeding trial this week. He is on the growth chart for weight for the first time...ever! Of course, it's a corrected age at 22 mo vs 24 mo. And it's only the 2-5the percentile but we will so take it! I mean, really, have you seen my husband?
His Caillou birthday banner came in the mail. He loved it so much he decided to wrap himself up in it.
Little Chicago's Pizza. Yummy. I will say maybe he had interest in his food longer. He sat at the table and messed around with the food there for the entire dinner.
This was too cute. I had been pushing him on the horse up and down the hallway. I mean really, who needs a gym when you have a toddler. I stepped away and when I came back he had pushed it in the living room and was watching t.v.
I gotta fix the blog, it has two backgrounds at the same time on the desktop version. My niece started a blog. Here's the link. http://writingourlovestory2013.blogspot.com/ Hers looked so fabulous I started trying to make mine cute. But, much like right now, I could not keep my eyes open to fix it! Ha I'm so old.
